Transparency fight going gangbusters

In the S.C. State Senate, where roll call votes are most desperately needed, Majority Leader Harvey Peeler is pretty much making certain that steps will be taken to ensure transparency of the upper house of the General Assembly goes into effect.

Republican Harvey Peeler of Gaffney said Wednesday he will propose changing Senate rules when session begins in January. He said he wants recorded votes on all measures that spend money.
