Orange is bad for you: Tennessee rolled by UCLA

It’s an accepted part of the Vierdsonian philosophy that Tennessee is no good, mostly because Alabama and Tennessee have had a death hatred for each other since the single-wing era. And, while it’s generally the m.o. to support SEC teams against the Pac-10, it warmed John’s heart to watch who some Bama fans call the “Viles” lose to UCLA tonight, 27-24. It was a beautiful thing to behold.

Also, props to Rep. Nathan Ballentine for slogging through the four-letter words and liberal bits on this blog. John likes a winner (see: Bryant, Bear; Wade, Wallace; Thomas, Frank; Stallings, Gene; Namath, Joe Willie; etc.), and Rep. Ballentine is certainly one of those – anybody that can knock off a House majority leader deserves some dap.
