RNC – wasting your money like liberals!

It’s going to be a very tough/very bad year for Republicans, and the Republican National Committee, you would think, would be putting every dollar toward a well-thought out, needed goal. You, sir, would be wrong.

In the space of a week, the RNC has rolled out two of the dumbest things ever seen by a major party in such a short time. The first was BarackBook, a parody of Facebook that was supposed to 1) draw in young voters and 2) showcase some of Sen. Barack Obama’s shadier associates. FAIL.

The site/Facebook application tanked so badly, they had to delete the comment section and stopped showing reviews on the front page, though a link leads you to the hundred or so Obama supporters that picked up the application just to run smack on it.

Guys – you’re not getting the youth vote. It’s not 1984. Get over it. And it’s worth saying that if you polled most of the 30+ Facebook people (and, especially 40+), they’d probably be Democrats. You should be spending your money elsewhere on something that actually works.

This video, looking like something that came out of a college kid’s MacBook, is not something that works:

So, yeah. The braintrust at the RNC could be spending its Internet money on things that would actually reach important, target voters, but it turns out not so much.

Why isnt Barack Obama opening up a huge lead on John McCain?

All the factors point to a very large Obama win but its not materializing.

I would really like you to come to

and post why you think this lead isn’t coming to past. Can anyone explain this ? Give it a shot
