Let’s face it – though Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine would be a good choice as Obama’s vice president, there are issues with how the ticket could be virally marketed. Across the Internet, there have already been some tries at this:

OK in ’08
OK for the USA
He don’t lie, he don’t lie, he don’t lie. O-Kaine

Still, the No. 1 choice for Sen. Barack Obama has to be New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. He’s got a resume that is absolutely awe-inspiring in terms of experience (Energy secretary, ambassador to the UN, governor, etc.), and he would provide the other half of America’s first major party all-minority ticket.

But, best of all, it would be known worldwide as “the black and tan ticket.”

It’s perfect. A Party for parties. Sales of Guinness and Bass would shoot through the roof. Politics would become attractive again for the multitudes, if for nothing else than a good time and good beer.

Get it done, Obama.
