It’s now 12:16 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2008. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game (Live! from Yankee Stadium) began way earlier in the night. And it’s in the 11th inning and still not over.
Guys, I implore you – I need to get to bed. It is late, and I am quite sleepy. Business hours are over, baby!
I mean, here I am, expecting an offensive exhibition. No, no siree. We get a 3-3 deadlock that goes into extras. Not good, mac. Still, I can’t help but watch. And, I’m in my business socks. You know, when I’m down to my socks it’s time for business – that’s why they’re called business socks.
UPDATE: Thank God the AL got its hitting together and won in the 15th inning, even while the NL had four errors.
